On Good Friday, we stood at the foot of the cross where our Lord and Saviour gave up His life for us. As Friday became Saturday, we had time to reflect upon this time of silence before rejoicing on Sunday that Christ has risen!

And indeed he has risen: for all for us! for the world! As we go about our day this Easter Monday holiday, and indeed throughout the remainder of this year, let us remember this:

John 14:6 – Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Jesus, the light of the world, has shown the world His love for us, and His love has triumphed over death.
